- The Enterprise Singapore Consultant Quality Initiative (CQI) is designed to help companies select the right management consultants to assist them in their business upgrading journey. By establishing a base of certified consultants, companies now have greater assurance of the level of quality and professionalism of the partners they engage.
- SMEs applying for EDG support for consultancy-related costs need to engage a management consultant with the necessary Enterprise Singapore recognized Consultant Quality Initiative (CQI) certification.
- Under the CQI, management consultants who possess adequate know-how, competence, and professional and ethical conduct to provide consultancy services, following TR 43:2015. To maintain their certifications and keep themselves relevant, consultants must continuously participate in professional development activities, such as courses and conferences, or take up coaching opportunities. They are also regularly assessed through examinations and reviewed by veteran management consultants
