Lean Master
Introduction:
The Lean Master programme is an advanced programme for selected change agents within an organization tasked to lead and manage continuous improvement / Lean projects. A Lean Master will be working on one of the highest management priorities, that is, to maximise profitability and sustain a culture of continual improvement. A Lean Master will drive management change by proposing disrupted or new processes. This role carries a very high level of peer respect and the Lean Master will be expected to lead and mentor a team of Lean Experts. A Lean Master’s value is measured by the achievement of world class status and he/she will accomplish this by building teams to help the business grow with a high level of empowerment through vested upper management support and commitment.
Lean Master Certification Requirements:
Continual assessments during the course of the Programme are used to determine the delegates’ understanding of the topics covered over the training period. These assessments take the form of both team based and individual assessments and the submission of a completed chartered project.
A certified Lean Master is a valuable asset to the organisation. To become a certified Lean Master, each delegate must successfully complete the training modules (minimum 75% attendance), pass the continual assessments and lead and complete 2 projects to demonstrate their technical competency, project management skills and leadership skills (the project results must be endorsed by the sponsoring organisation).
