Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
(LSSBB Black Belt Certification Training)
Introduction:
A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is the leader and the core of any Lean Six Sigma project. The Black Belt plays many roles within the team, including quality analyst, project manager, statistician, facilitator, and mentor. The Black Belt works full-time on projects and manages Lean Six Sigma teams.
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt programme provides core training modules, practices and methodologies for Black Belt candidates. Participants learn how key tools are utilized to form repeatable processes for solving critical problems.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Requirements:
Project and on-going assessment
Each participant is required to complete 2 projects
Led all phases of projects
Successful outcome of toll gates
Selected projects have delivered substantial benefits and results (to be determined in joint consultation with the management)
Demonstrated that project results are sustainable
Demonstrated a thorough understanding of, and ability to use, all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC model on the 2 projects
Demonstrated understanding of the components and techniques used in project management, including planning, deploying, monitoring etc of projects
Ability to demonstrate leadership capability and managing organisational dynamics
Based on the projects selected and subject to successful completion with genuine results and demonstration of the required competencies, the candidates will be awarded the Six Lean Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Programme Objectives:
The aim of this programme is to impart participants with advanced level skills in analysing and improving processes using the Lean Six Sigma approach. Upon completion of this training, participants would have mastered the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology and learned the in-depth concepts and tools needed to accomplish Black Belt level projects.
