Introduction:
This course is the ideal starting point toward understanding and implementing the ISO 22000:2005 food safety
management system standard. A detailed review of each clause of the standard, together with the key considerations
for implementation, will be covered. This 2-day workshop will include a mixture of lectures, practical hands-on
exercises and real case studies and examples to help participants gain the required knowledge and understanding of
ISO 22000:2005.
Pre-requisite:
Prior knowledge of food safety concepts, relevant food safety legislation, pre-requisite programmes and the
Codex HACCP Principles would be beneficial.

Target Audience:
All personnel, including food safety team members, involved in implementing ISO 22000:2005 food safety
management systems.
