ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems 

ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems.  It includes the following standards:

  • ISO 9000:2005 Quality management systems – Fundamentals and vocabulary
  • ISO 9001:2008 Quality management systems – Requirements
  • ISO 9004:2000 Quality management systems - Guidelines for performance improvements

Some of the key requirements in ISO 9001:2008 include:

  • Documented Quality Management System documentation (including Quality  Manual,  procedure Manual, support documentation) that cover all key processes in the business; 
  •  Monitoring processes to ensure they are effective;
  • Keeping adequate records;
  • Checking output for defects, with appropriate and corrective action where  necessary;
  • Regularly reviewing individual processes and the quality system itself for effectiveness;
  • Facilitating continual improvement

Kaizen Consulting Group's Business Process Methodology    

Kaizen Consulting Group uses a unique Business Process flowcharting methodology as the core principle to customise the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) for each of our client. 

 

Using the existing natural business flow of our client's as the framework to build the Quality Management System, we then map the ISO 9001:2008 requirements into the established framework to identify where the individual requirements of the standard apply within the business. Each requirement is examined to determine which part of the business process is affected by the requirement or already satisfies the requirement.

 

Our approach complements the existing working methods and organisational culture, rather than an imposed a bureaucracy of control solely developed for the sake of ISO 9001:2008 certification.
